Placed in a fine position on a hilltop between Veddasca and
Valdumentina Valley, Agra has three viewpoints: at
the main gate of the village, at the midway of the Sun Tour,
a walk around the hill, and at the Carmine Church.
Its old stone house with carved portal and balcony, and its
narrow streets spaced by squares or widenings have been preserved.
To see:
- San Giuseppe's Church, dating XIII century, close
to the Romite Ambrosiane's Convent
- Sant'Eusebio's Church
- Beata Vergine del Carmine's Church, dated
1838 and built where the plague's deads were buried
- Santuario della Lupera, along the road that
goes down to Colmegna
- the Bedorè Hill, with its birch-trees and
its 360° beautiful view.
