This country house is an elegant example of nobiliare dwelling of the late Lombardic Renaissance (century XV-XVI). It is encircled by an outstanding Italian garden, embellished by terraces, statues, blooming flower-beds and water games. Inside, there are painted scenes on the walls and rooms richly decorated and furnished in style.
On the back of the house the garden is terraced and divided by
a long 'stairway' of water, built in the XVII, leading to a small grotto temple
placed at the top of the hill. On the northern side, there is another garden
of formal design, developed on two terraces.
