Boarezzo

Boarezzo is one of the four hamlets that constitute theValganna Municipality. It is placed a little higher than the bottom valley, surrounded by thick hardwood forests.

The ancient nucleus of the village is datable back to the XII century and its houses lean one against the other divided by narrow cobbled roads.

To revive the old houses the inhabitants thought of painting the wall with murales about the old works and the rural traditions.On these walls we can today admire paintings by Borghi, De Luca, Tavernari, Monestier, Spaventa, Filippi, Ciaurro and some other italian artists.
