Buguggiate

This small residential town is placed in a panoramic position close to Lake Varese.

To see:

- the medieval Erbamolle village with its rural houses

- Santa Caterina's Oratory, a Romanesque sanctuary with an outdoor granite altar with a 1509 painting by Galdino from Varese. A cycle of 1400 frescoes are inside.

- San Vittore's Church that has a roman Ara in the facade

- San Giovanni's Oratory
