Castronno

It rises on the road between Gallarate and Varese, on a hill to the east of the Arno stream. Probably in medieval times there was a sighting tower, but today there is no trace. Legacy of the feudo of Arcisate, it passed later to the Visconti Borromeo and then to the Conti Litta .
