The ice-houses and the San Carlo 'lighthouse'

Placed on the shores of the Lake Varese it preserves intact its old structure ' of yards.
Here the last fishermen live, here the three oldest ice-houses of the zone stand and the Varese Pupper Theater has seat.
The XVII century parish church of San Carlo, built up in the chosen place from the Saint, has an imposing bell tower often used like ' lighthouse' in order to leading back the fishermen in the foggy days.
The little harbour of Cazzago Brabbia offers one of the finest view of the lake, with opposite the Campo dei Fiori and on the right the Mount Rosa.
