Cittiglio is placed at the end of the Valcuvia Valley, 4 km from Lake Maggiore at the foot of Monte Sasso del Ferro and Monte
Nudo.
The oldest part rises on the hill at the right of the provincial road and is named San Biagio as its Romanic church. The other part of Cittiglio is on the left and preserves many XVI-XVIIth building, such as Casa Corti,
with frescoes dated back to XVII-XVIII centuries and Casa Ripamonti, frescoed around the XVIII century.
