Cuvio
Placed at the end of Valcuvia valley was inhabited from the Bronze Age.
The House of Litta Visconti from Arese, belonged to the Cotta family from 1450 to 1728 and then to the Litta Visconti from Arese, with the coat of arms that still camps over the main door, rises in the centre of the town. The building stands on a previous fortification from which preserves the quadrilateral characteristic structure with inner courtyard. The north wing was rebuilded in the XVII century.
In the Comacchio hamlet the factory of organs founded from Bernardino Mascioni in 1829 is still active.
