Ferrera di Varese

Placed among Valcuvia and Valmarchirolo valley, it is wetted by the Margorabbia stream and its tributary, Rancina.

In a place known as 'roman camp' were found some cremation tombs and bronze fibulas.

To see:

- the parish church of S. Maria Maddalena, built on a preceeding 1500 building

- at Frasnetti place, a tipical courtyard house with a wine-press and an old bakery

- the Fermone Fall by Margorabbia, high 30 mt and its little lake
