It gave its name to the Valley it was the old parish church. Today, it is a painted village frescoed by Gandolla, Maggi,
Treccani, Jonesco, Baruzzi, Damiani, Del Fitto, Emery, Galliani,

Above the town towers the San Martino's Church, with its monumental stairway that rises from the centre of Marchirolo.
To see a fine view on the valley and the Lake Lugano, we can rise in half an hour to the Romanesque church of San Paolo.
The Museum Pellini Bozzolo, former the Grand Hotel Marchirolo, preserves the works of the sculptors Eugenio Pellini (1864-1934), Eros Pellini
(1909-1993), Adriano Bozzolo (1927-living).
