Mercallo dei Sassi

Placed as an amphitheatre turned to the Lake of Comabbio, it was inhabited since the Roman Age as testified the tombs of the I century B.C. found at Vignaccia.

The medieval parish church is dedicated to S. Giovanni Evangelista and the bell tower is dated XI century.
