Morazzone

Situated in the hilly region between the Olona River and the Val d' Arno, it has a fine position, far away from the main roads and surrounded by woods.

Here the greater painter Pier Francesco Mazzucchelli, known as il Morazzone (1573-1626), was born.

To see :

- St. Ambrogio's parish church, built according the rules of St. Carlo Borromeo with the bell tower parted

- St. Maria's church, dated 1545 that preserves many XV-XVI century frescoes
