With its hamlet of Poggio, Bassano and Ronco Scigolino it is situated on a hill overlooking Lake Maggiore. All these inhabited have preserved the ancient structure, gathering around a single road, with narrow streets and the stone pavement.
Attractions:
- The parish of S. Rocco, with beautiful marble columns and an altar designed by Enrico Braga
- The church of S. Maria Assunta outside Bassano, with a Romanesque bell tower and courtyard where you can enjoy a vast panorama, from Cannobio to Locarno
- The church of S. Maria, at the cemetery of Tronzano, with a fresco of the patron saints Sebastian and Rocco
- The old mule track that leads from Poggio to Tronzano which in the past connected the town with the lake shipment.
