Located in the southern part of the province, on a alluvial flat area, it is characterized by a center cluster around two squares connected by a main road network. At distances ranging from two to four kilometers from the center there are four outlying districts, originated from old farmhouses: Girola, Soccorso, Malpaga and Regosella.
Much of the agricultural land is used for potato cultivation, which is an annual festival dedicated.
Near the farms Soccorso and Malpaga, were found some archaeological finds dating to the Gallo-Roman and Roman Empire.
