Vizzola Ticino

It rises on the left bank of Ticino river and is part of the Ticino Natural Park.

In 1900 it was built the hydroelectric plant on the Ticino, which is one of the oldest examples of the industrial use of the river.

In 1910 Federico and Gianni Caproni moved their workshop from Arco to Vizzola Ticino and started the first Italian aircraft factory in the heath of Malpensa.
