Lake Brinzio
The landscape that appears travelling towards Brinzio takes one's
breath away: the lake is set in a surreal atmosphere of peace against
a background of wooden mountains.
The little Lake Brinzio has a surface of 1.5 hectares and a 3.5
mt. maximum depth and is a protected area. Various plant species
grow here and numerous animals live in or pass through it, none
of which are fortunately endangered species.
It is a very important area for the populating of some Amphibians
such as the common toad that comes here from the east slopes of
Campo dei Fiori and from Monte Legnone to reproduce.
