Dumentina Valley
The only two centers of this valley which is rich of forests and
meadows are Dumenza, from
which it takes the name, and Agra..
The Mount Gradisca (1057 mt) separates it from them Veddasca Valley
and the Mount Lema (1620 mt), the highest one of the Varese
Province, marks the border with the Switzerland neighbor. From the
Mount Lema with a beautiful excursion, mostly on the Helvetic crinale,
the Mount Tamaro (1961 mt) is caught up, with splendid views on
Lake Maggiore. Easier excursions lead to the Mount Clivio, to the
Colmegnino, the Rogorio and to the Mount Bedea, not to mention those
to the alpine pasture of Pradecolo, Prato Bernardo, Pian di Runo
and Prato Fontana.
